Amazon teased its biggest sale of the year — Great Indian Festival — a while ago. However, it kept the dates a secret. Now, the e-commerce giant has finally announced the start date for the sale along with some deals and discounts that buyers can expect from the upcoming sale.
10 days to go for the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale
The updated Great Indian Festival sale banner on the Amazon India website and app has confirmed that the sale will begin on September 23. However, the e-commerce platform has kept the end date a mystery.
In 2021, the Great Indian Festival ran for around 27 days starting October 3 to October 31. We can expect a similar timeline for the sale this year as well.
Great India Festival sale to start early for Prime members
As always, Amazon has confirmed that the Great Indian Festival sale will start early for Prime members. While the company hasn’t revealed the exact date for that, usually, the sale for Prime members starts 12 to 24 hours before the sale date.

Kickstarters deals are now live
Ahead of the Great Indian Festival sale, Amazon has started offering deals and discounts on a wide range of products across the category including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, etc as a part of Kickstarters deals.
Expected offers
Like every year, we can expect that Amazon will offer good discounts on smartphones. We expect that Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 will see good discounts during the upcoming sale. Also, we can expect to see some discount offers on Samsung’s flagship devices like the S22 series, etc.
Meanwhile, the e-commerce platform has already revealed around 40% discount on smartphones, up to 75% discount on laptops and smartwatches, and up to 60% discount on TV appliances.

Buyers can avail 10% additional discount on SBI debit and credit cards.
