Apple introduces iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus: Price, key features and more

Apple has launched the all-new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Both the new iPhones come with Super Retina XDR Display. The all-new iPhones are powered by the A15 Bionic processor chip, which was introduced with the iPhone 13 series. It’s a big surprise as Apple never introduces a new iPhone with an older processor.
Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus: Price and availability
Customers can get iPhone 14 starting at Rs 79,900 and iPhone 14 Plus starting at Rs 89,900 from apple.com/in/store and through Apple Authorised resellers. Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in five colour variants — Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Product Red. Both phones will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.
Customers in India and more than 30 other countries and regions will be able to pre-order iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus starting September 9. iPhone 14 will be available from September 16 whereas the iPhone 14 Plus will be available October 7.

Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus comes with better battery life, claims apple.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus feature a new 12MP primary sensor with a faster aperture than iPhone 13. Apple claims that the iPhone 14 delivers 49% better performance in low light compared to iPhone 13 iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus also come with 12-inch ultra-wide sensor. For the first time, the 12MP front camera comes with an autofocus feature. Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus also feature a built-in action camera feature.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus comes with crash detection feature and improved accelerometer and gyro meter sensors.
Apple has also introduced new Emergency SOS features via satellite connectivity. The feature will kick in when users are in no network zone. Apple claims that — if users have a clear view of the sky — a text message can be sent in less than 15 seconds to emergency services.
