OneUI Watch 4.5 brings new watch faces and improved QWERTY keyboard to Galaxy Watch4, Watch4 Classic

The new Galaxy Watch5 series brought two watches, a vanilla Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, replacing the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. With the Galaxy Watch5, Samsung announced the OneUI Watch 4.5, introducing new watch faces, customization options and an improved QWERTY keyboard. Now, Samsung is bringing these features to the Galaxy Watch4 series with the OneUI Watch 4.5 update.
The OneUI Watch 4.5 update adds six new watch faces to the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic. These are a set of interactive watch faces with a palette of new shades. With the favourites watch face list, users can customize watch faces and save them to the list so that one can access them quickly from the list.
With the OneUI Watch 4.5 update, users can experience the new QWERTY keyboard on Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Samsung says the update will improve the typing experience on the Galaxy Watch4 series. Further, switching between input methods – QWERTY keyboard, voice recognition and handwriting – will become convenient.
These OneUI 4.5 features coming Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch Active2
The two-year-old Galaxy Watch3 and three-year-old Galaxy Watch Active2 are set to receive selected OneUI 4.5 features with a software update scheduled to release in September.
The software update will add two new watch faces – Gradient number and Pro analog – to the Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch Active2. The two watches will receive snore detection with the upcoming update, which Samsung says
will give users a detailed analysis of their sleep quality. Furthermore, the blood pressure measurement and ECG feature will be expanded to the Galaxy Watch3 and Watch Active3 with an update to the Samsung Health Monitor app.
