Poco X5 5G has surfaced online ahead of its official launch in the market. The smartphone has reportedly been spotted on IMEI database and is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. Poco X5 5G is expected to launch in China under the Redmi branding while the smartphone could arrive as Poco handset in India and other global markets.
According to a report by XiaomiUI, the Poco X5 5G is expected to feature an LCD display and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The report also suggests that the handsets bearing model number– 22101320G, 22101320I, and 22101320C are said to be launched in China, India and other global markets respectively. These model numbers also hint at the launch date of the smartphone which is rumored to be October 13 (if we look closely at the first six digits of the model number).

Poco X5 5G is said to succeed the Poco X4 Pro 5G which was powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset.
Last month, Poco launched the Poco M5 5G in India. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM.
The handset comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. For optics, the handset sports a 50 MP rear sensor along with an 8 MP selfie sensor.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging.
