Realme Narzo 50i Prime launched at a starting price of Rs 7,999

Chinese smartphone maker Realme has announced the expansion of its budget smartphone series—Narzo—with the launch of the Realme Narzo 50i Prime in India. The phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display, runs Android 11 with realme UI Go Edition, and is powered by the new UNISOC T612 SoC chipset with up to 4GB of RAM.

The Realme Narzo 50i Prime’s 3GB+32GB RAM and storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999, while the 4GB+64GB model costs Rs 8,999.
The budget smartphone will be made available on Amazon during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale starting on September 23. However, Prime subscribers can purchase the phone starting on September 22 at 12 PM. Additionally, the smartphone will be offered on the official website of Realme and in offline stores as well.
The Realme Narzo 50i Prime comes in two colour options: Green Mint and Dark Blue.
Realme Narzo 50i Prime: Features and specifications
Realme Narzo 50i Prime features a stage light design and a ridged texture on the back, but lacks a fingerprint sensor. Its 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display has a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone comes powered by a 12nm UNISOC T612 Octa-Core chipset coupled with the Mali-G57 GPU. It packs a 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded to 1TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs realme UI Go Edition operating system based on Android 11.
For camera duties, the smartphone comes with an 8MP back camera with an LED flash and a front-facing 5MP selfie camera. The Realme budget smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
