Samsung Galaxy S23 series may have same display as the Galaxy S22 lineup

The year has not even ended yet, but the rumours about Samsung‘s flagship smartphone series for the next year, the Galaxy S23, have started pouring in on the internet. A few weeks ago, notable tipster Ice Universe shared that the upcoming Galaxy S23 series would remain the same as this year’s Galaxy S22 series. Now, the tipster has shared more details about the upcoming Galaxy S23, which suggests that the two series’ might not be much different.
The tipster shared a post on Weibo detailing screen size, resolution and dimensions for the entire Galaxy S23 series. As per the post, the upcoming Galaxy S23 and S23+ would have a 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch display with 1,080×2,340 pixels and 1,440×2,340 pixels resolution, respectively, similar to the Galaxy S22 and S22+. So, However, there could be some slight differences in the dimensions.
There would be no changes in the next year’s Ultra model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra as well. The tipster suggests that the Galaxy S23 Ultra would feature a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 3,080×1,440 pixels, the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Like its two smaller counterparts, the S23 Ultra could be a tiny bit taller and narrower than its predecessors.
If one were to guess, the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup would probably have a 120Hz AMOLED panel.
The Galaxy S23 series, especially the S23 and S22+, may not be a huge upgrade over their predecessors. However, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could get one huge upgrade, as rumours suggest it could come with a 200MP camera, replacing the 108MP on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
There is not much known officially about the Galaxy S23 series, but it is being confirmed that the entire Galaxy S23 lineup will be powered by the Snapdragon chipset, probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
